The Tumwater Chamber is proud to welcome our newest member, All Ready Moving! Founder and CEO Matt Collins and his team of over 25 staff moved into a 40,000 square foot warehouse on 37th Ave SW in the Mottman Industrial Park about four years ago. They are excited to join the Tumwater Chamber because they are actively looking for more opportunities to give back to the community and they knew our organization would be a good place to start.
As a moving and storage company, All Ready often finds itself with extra furniture and home goods that people say they don’t want anymore and don’t have time to donate themselves. Matt would like to find a way to get these items into the homes of people in need. All Ready has a fleet of eight moving trucks at their disposal and would love to put them into service on behalf of a food bank or other organization helping families and vulnerable individuals through the upheavals of 2020.
This company is all about relationships and communication. Matt founded All Ready Moving 19 years ago after an experience with a friend’s moving company in Auburn. The very next day, Matt got a business license, put a flyer up in the Tumwater Fred Meyer, and started befriending the managers of storage facilities and apartment buildings around town. Matt continued to work side by side with an expanding team of staff until 2011. “I never could have imagined I’d be running the business I am today when I started all those years ago,” Matt says. He keeps his experiences as a mover top of mind even today. The face-to-face connection with the customer is among the most important elements of the business and drives many of their decisions.
All Ready Moving serves renters and owners relocating their homes; business owners moving an office or putting the trappings of their work space into storage due to the tough year; and travelers or anyone who needs to store their belongings for an extended period of time.
