Jim Lawrence from Washington State Department of Labor & Industries answered questions on Protecting the Safety and Health of Workers – Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
Jim has 28 years of industrial experience. He spent 21 years as department manager and 16 years managing safety. He led an Oregon based company to 5 consecutive OR-OSHA SHARP Award. He has been with Washington State Department of Labor and Industries for the past 12 years and is currently the DOSH Region 4 Consultation Manager.
Jim holds dual Bachelor degrees in Physical Science and Business Administration. He also has an MBA in Business Management.
He is the Past Chair of the Mt. St. Helens section of the Columbia-Willamette ASSP. He is also a Certified Safety Professional.
