I’m Brian Johnson, a regular guy with a passion for helping people.
Professional Experience
A licensed insurance agent since 2005 (starting with New York Life), I created Johnson Financial Solutions and added Medicare planning to my business to help existing clients. Not knowing it then, Medicare planning would ultimately become the main part of my business. I focus now on Medicare planning year around, with a team of experienced professionals, backed by the highest rated, most stable companies in the industry.
My Background
I was born in Anacortes, WA and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. I joined the National Guard in 1987, graduating with a 94 Bravo Culinary degree. Rather than work in the field, I went to work in retail management with Thriftway and QFC. I left to pursue a career in sales before starting at New York Life.
Married in 1997, my wife and I have 2 sons and 3 grandbabies. I have called the Olympia area my home for the last 27 years.
I have a love for cooking, gardening, fishing and the outdoors. I dig for razor clams in winter and fish off Westport in the summer.

The “Medicare Mess”
The ‘Medicare mess’ created by industry advertising and the media has left most on, or soon to be on, Medicare confused or misled. I wanted to make a difference – through education and support at enrollment time and year round.
Always being a good listener combined with my strong desire to help others, I have embraced working with clients on understanding Medicare and Medicaid. To make sure I provide the best advice possible, I am constantly learning, staying on top of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and changes through monthly training.
