We welcomed Tumwater Mayor Debbie Sullivan this month for a State of the City Update. She was joined by other City of Tumwater staff for updates on various Tumwater properties, including the Brewery, Tumwater Valley Golf Club, and old Trails End Arena property.
In a recent edition of the Tumwater on Tap newsletter, Sullivan said:
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our residents and honored to be the first woman elected as Tumwater’s Mayor,” remarked Mayor Sullivan. “Serving on Council and Planning Commission has helped me prepare for this leadership role. I am eager to work with the Council and City staff to build a strong, balanced economic base in Tumwater, along with planning for the growth we are expecting over the next few years.”
Before being elected Mayor, Sullivan served on the Tumwater City Council for eight years and as a member of the Tumwater Planning Commission for more than ten years.
